The Patch worksheet uses a different slightly layout than Submasters and Groups.
Each row indicates a single Channel.
Column A indicates the Channel number.
Column B indicates the Channel Page. A blank Page will defaul to Page 1 when exporting to the USITT ASCII file. Note that some consoles, including ETC's Express series, do not use Patch Pages. For the purposes of importing and exporting the USITT ASCII file, this means all patching belongs to Page 1.
Columns C and beyond allow you to patch Dimmer(s) to a Channel. The default syntax, as shown in cell C2, is "Dimmer@Percent". C3 shows the shorthand "Dimmer" which will be interpreted as "Dimmer@100".
To assign more than one Dimmer to a Channel, enter one "Dimmer" or "Dimmer@Level" in each column left to right, as shown in rows 5, 6, and 7.
When using Live Mode with the Enttec Open DMX USB device, the Dimmer Solo dialog can assist you in patching dimmers.
Technical Trivia: Note that in cell C2 Excel tries to interpret "1@75" (Dimmer 1 patched at 75% to Channel 1) as an e-mail address and formats it as such. This is annoying but okay. Do not attempt to change the cell's formatting or to force Excel to interpret it as text by including a leading single quote.
